Porch It Is

Almost a pergola, but a porch is a tad cheaper. My chop saw stopped working on me as I attempted the last bits (the vertical & horizontal trusses), which made things a bit awkward as I used my new hand held circular saw. I'll have to finish them off at work on the bandsaw, as you do. Annoying, but good to see the structure in place ready for the next bits: guttering, flashing & clear plastic panels. One thing at a time.


It turns out that the rotor brushes have gone on the chop saw motor. Not bad going considering the saw is well over ten years old, from Aldi. With a bit of luck the brushes should be easily available from a sparky shop.
