Roof lines

Back blipping .... having got somewhat behind.

We had the morning for a bit of a wander around Bruges, in brilliant even over bright light (and also for me to do a fair amount of work....it never ends). And Bruges never disappoints. We trod a mix of old familiar lanes and some new streets which I don't think I'd walked before.

The conference started after lunch and we had two long sessions. There were too many presentations (and comments that were just mini presentations....) and too little discussion for my liking. But it was nice to see a lot of old friends.

We finished late and I rushed over to the restaurant (picking up the sunset picture in the extras on the way) to meet Mr A, but then discovered that we had had a minor communication fail and he thought I was picking him up in the bar he had repaired to.... Anyway, he made to the restaurant before dinner started so nothing was lost.
