Visitors

A wet, windy day.  We've been trying to find an opportunity to tidy up the patio, but the weather has been uncooperative.  We wanted to tidy it partly for our own benefit, but also because we were expecting visitors.  

A and M are longstanding friends of W's sister.  We visited them in Bunclody when U and S were staying back in the autumn.

They called in for a couple of hours today on the way to Waterford - M works as a live in carer, and was going to catch a bus to Cork.

We had a lovely chat.

After they had gone, I had another session in the sewing room.  I was intending to do some sewing, and then do some fluting, but I got too engrossed.  Another block is seen in extras.
