Trio

I’ve become very good at finding accessible walks for a dog buggy and dodgy knees and discovered a great ‘Miles without Stiles’ walk on the way to Whitby; 3 miles from Esk Valley to Beck Hole. A perfect length to build up our appetite for fish and chips at The Magpie Cafe; though this year we had a takeaway as didn’t want to leave Bill in the car - it was just as good!

A wee wander around Whitby but disappointingly two of the lovely shops we found last year were closed - though it did mean I didn’t spend any money!

Returned to the cabin and decided it was time to try the hot tub - not only with my Kindle but with some fizz (in a plastic glass) too - was quite wonderful!

The evening’s viewings then included Josser on George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces. I’ve followed their journey on Instagram, have eaten there twice and photographed them the other week  but it was wonderful to see their story on TV! Can’t wait to see the next stage of their adventure!


I don't do them often but simply couldn't decide which pic I preferred today - and then decided they actually looked quite striking as a trio!
