Bean's new bestie

Meet Willow.

She is A and J's granddog: a rescue bitsa and an absolute sweetie. She and Bean played together for the first time today. They fell in love instantly and then leapt and rolled round and round their garden. What a joy to see.

I tried to wrangle them for a photo, but they were far too interested in running off to play a bit more.

We were there for the afternoon, primarily to watch the newest Wallace and Gromit on Netflix (which A&J have, and I don't). We hooted with laughter. 

I took a chunk of Wensleydale which we ate with crackers and pickled onions.

I planted the brassicas first thing, then did some important cheese business, before heading off for the doggy encounters.
