NZ Autumn 2025

Flat out football

Brunch on the deck with friends passed from morning to afternoon in the most pleasant way.
I caught about 25 minutes of the second half of Nelson Suburbs FC v Ferrymead Bays FC in the National League, 4 - 1 to Nelson.
The Extras.
Airborne!
Goal number three.
A sun halo whilst having coffee and scones on the deck.
"Sun halos are generally considered rare. They are formed by hexagonal ice crystals refracting light in the sky — 22 degrees from the sun. That's why a sun halo is also commonly called a 22 degree halo."

A magnificent day 22c was seen.
