Hot summer 85 - outdoor musical

Friday night! Not exhausted after the first week in work. Which is nice.

The outdoor musical today was so funny and amusing and the weather was great and warm (21c), cloudy! After a nice day at work it was so nice to listen to the finnish pop music.

The musical tells almost a same love story of a young couple in year 1985, as the indoor musical and the movie year 85 tells too. The outdoor show had side drama too, so it differs from the earlier ones and worked well. I laughed so much incidentally!

The story is strongly based on the music ofthree artists or bands from Tampere, Juice, Eppu Normaali and Popeda. The title song 'Kuuma kesä 85' is here, if you like to hear it. The leading solist is Sami Hintsanen, quite a good singer and actor.

The band in the musical plays live mostly in an open bus driving around the revolving auditorium. This was the band point of view during the soundcheck...

As this musical has been a huge succsess in Tampere, I'd like to share one more link to you, showing you climpses of the Year 85- last moments of indoor music show in december 2012. There was interviewed some audience who had seen the show even 82 times or more... After the indoor theatre show, the musical was moved to outdoors.

This weekend is a last one for this show. Propably.
