Greenland- past and present

Greenland is in the news now – for the wrong reasons thanks to Trump’s antics.
 
Well, many years ago, while working in Iceland, I went on a day trip to Greenland and here I am standing on an iceberg. It was in the early days of tourism and there were only about a dozen of us on the plane. Even now `I recall that day for it was extraordinary:  the beauty of the scenery, the icebergs , the friendliness of the Innuits and the silence.
PS. While in Iceland I met Blipper Ceridwen , who was on a student expedition. We have yet to meet again in real life.
