Tombstone Roses

New neighbors on the right cut back their Tombstone roses to the ground a couple of weeks ago. The previous owner never trimmed it and it got enormous. It’s growing like crazy. I noticed some wee flowers starting to grow already. I couldn’t resist taking a picture but they are a little ‘muddy’ because of the wind.

Not much going on today. I’m supposed to go write postcards in support of the woman running for a judgeship in Wisconsin. Later I will watch the ballgame while doing some of the things around the house that I have been putting off. Will put out some nectar and oranges for the birds, too.
