Behind the scenes…

We took a ( not free ) behind the scenes tour of the Disney safari .
It was incredibly informative, so many of the creatures were illegally obtained in the first place or born into a protected species breeding program in other parts of the world . The guide explained ( something everyone knows) that Disney have A LOT of money so why not use it on conservation whilst avoiding paying taxes . It’s amazing how I will turn a blind eye when it suits my interests… I’ve always maintained I am shallow as a puddle … always best to be transparent in these matters, gives people plenty of chance not to bother with me ;-)) .
Anyway this pair are Hans and Henry … father and son … males are not usually this bonded but these two genuinely like each other. They were shipped over from Germany MANY years ago .
Today we also walked over rope bridges with crocodiles underneath us , one of the crocs was called Grandad as he’s ancient …
