Fungi Outing

Firstly and most importantly thank you all so much for your responses to my 15 year anniversary yesterday.  You have all taken the time to write such lovely and meaningful words, at times I felt you weren't talking about me.  I've been feeling very overwhelmed and humbled.  It really cements how we all feel about this site, filled with caring and loving people.  I want to hug you all (virtually).
This afternoon I went out to Talbot Forest near Geraldine with oldTimer and S.  Its been a few years since we've done this - last year there was sickness and injuries, the previous year was very dry and previous years covid kept us at home.
Lots of fun....but obviously I am very out of practise !!!  Didn't know what to choose but loved the fragility and light of this teeny pair - some other extras.
We finished our outing going to a cafe sitting under a tree eating cake and enjoying a spearmint milkshake.
We had a lengthy Facetime this evening with our Townsville family - Lexi was so excited about some news she wanted to share....."Nana, next term I'm going to be Class Captain, and I'm going to have a badge to wear".  Thrilled for her, she is a born leader, caring and capable young lady.
Hence, I'm very late - I don't like editing/preparing a blip at night, generally I find the next morning they are too dark.
