Willow

I haven't blipped Willow since I got home but here she is, happily sitting on my knee. I think she's happy to have me back.

It was a slow day today, mainly because I was so tired. Outside the weather was mixed, beautiful sun one moment and heavy, squally showers the next, but it was cold.

I woke up at the normal time and swithered about swimming. I finally decided not to and it was the right decision. Listened to the awful news from Myanmar and Bangkok before getting up.

I spent the day doing this and that. Filled in some more of my extensive free time by organising gallery visits and signing up for an Edinburgh Uni course at NMS. If all goes to plan I'll be doing things part of three days a week April to June. I also volunteered to do a bit of mentoring it that offer may not be taken up.

It is #1 son's birthday. I wished 'happy birthday' by WA during the night about an hour after his actual birth time, 00.10. Then later, a lot later than planned at 13.30, I saw him in person, sang the saw and watched him blows out his candles. They are all well and the girls are in holiday now for Hari Raya. They are off camping next weekend in Port Dickson.

The one thing I did achieve was to start some plants, something I failed to do last year. Tatties are chitting in the front room, really for Olivia's benefit, sweet pea seeds are soaking in the kitchen windowsill and nasturtiums and cosmos are under cover in the office, extra.

I also spoke to Y, who has broken her shoulder, probably a while ago and not all the way through, but only just diagnosed. I braved the weather to post their Golden Wedding card so they'll get it before they return to Illetas, fingers crossed, on Tuesday.

Sat through the front for the first time since last year and tried to sew but the light has to be very good now my near sight is going, well going for cross stitch. Some WA chat with L, S, #3 and K and I finally did something I'd also been swithering about for a while and pressed 'send'.

Watched the news from SE Asia, mindless TV and some of The Last Leg before crawling back to bed.
