Few-flowered Leek
A cloudy start, and a bit damp, but the clouds clear and it is another sunny day. Workmen around in the morning to fix the facia that blew off in the strong un-named storm that followed storm Éowyn. They are also fixing the guttering, which hasn't connected with the neighbours downpipe since the neighbour had their guttering replaced. So no using the front door until the work is completed. Fortunately it only takes a couple of hours, just in time for the lunchtime walk. Nice and warm, but a lightweight jacket required just to keep off the slight chill of the north-westerly breeze.
After work, I am expecting a visit from a garden service company, required for the residents' association. Unfortunately the person goes to the wrong address (didn't enter in the postcode in to the satnav) so we rearrange for a visit on Thursday. I go for a short walk around the park. In White Lady Wood, the familiar 'garlic' smell is starting to appear. Not produced by wild garlic, but by few-flowered leek, pictured.
A busy day, so thank goodness it is Wine Wednesday. Thursday looks very busy as well.
