Striped sunlight

I have posted a picture similar to this before (22nd Feb and have forgotten how to make a link to it). I just like the stripes!

One of my appointments yesterday was with a social prescriber. She gave me links and information to get various types of help. Unfortunately phone calls rang out and emails weren’t replied to., More waiting! Less and less people seem to use voicemail these days. It’s always ‘please try later’. I suppose if makes less work if they don’t have to wade through messages. Let the caller do the work by ‘trying later’! What really makes me weary is that it seems that any big company I phone seems to start with the recorded message ‘We are exceptionally busy at the moment and the wait time is 20 minutes’. If they are ALWAYS so busy why don’t they just employ more people? Then more people would be paying tax to keep Govt happy!

And while Govt are going on about cutting spending in their own departments …… they announced after being elected that they would stop badger culling in five years time. It costs a fortune and research shows that culling badgers does not reduce bovine TB. So why spend more money on it and wipe out so many badgers?
