Friday: Shallots & Pickling Onions

We both woke up a little too early this morning, it was very chilly outside - wind in the west but it stayed dry …

MrD on deliveries, he’s been enjoying our home grown “salad onions/shallots” through the last few months - we are down to our last pot and I remembered that there were some left from the sack I bought last autumn - https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/3292239443036996995 - they really have kept well in our garage. I’ve planted up 2 pots full and left them in the greenhouse to start growing.

This evening we’re watching “Seven” starring Morgan Freeman and Brad Pitt - it’s a very long and complicated film, we’ve taken a short break to clear our heads … it may give us nightmares!! :-(((
