Magnolia stellata

In the past week there have been several blips of this lovely early Magnolia. So here is my contribution.

Baker’s Dozen this morning. A slightly different format.
One of out members had just enjoyed a book called Remaking the World by Andrew Wilson. All about how the events of 1776 had a big influence on the politics and culture of the western world right down to the present day.
For our discussion we we each invited to choose two years. One which has influenced our personal life and one which we think has influenced the world.
It was most interesting.
This afternoon is my weekly music time.
We listento a wide range of music every evening. From classical, folk music ( especially from the 1960s ), jazz and musicals.
But on Friday afternoon Mrs. K. Is out at choir practice so I can put on a Mahler Symphony and turn the volume up high !
