Dag 8 Prednison Goede Response

His first important test since treatment began...his response to the steroids are excellent. Yes that says 0%. No blasts present in his blood. Yay!!

In other news, even an anaesthetist couldn't get a line in today so we had to go home and wait until he could have an anaesthetic (he'd had breakfast), then he was knocked out with gas for the infusion line to go in.

Chemo 3 went in fine, but then the nurse said his Hb was low and he needs a blood transfusion.

So what I thought would be a 90 minute hospital visit has turned into a bit of a marathon. We should be home by 10pm.
