Time out

I wonder where the birdies is - Ogden Nash
Well, this morning they were making themselves heard on CK heath. I don't know what they had to be so chirpy about, the air was quite fresh, & not even a glimpse of the sun. Yesterday was glorious. Temperature reached a balmy 18°c in Plymouth according to the news.
I recorded & identified with the help of the merlin app - Chiffchaff, Robin, blackbird, greenfinch, blue tit, song Thrush, goldcrest, & chaffinch, on one recording stood on the edge of woodland that borders the heath. Plenty of Jay activity, I spotted Longtail tits with nesting material, & the cherry on the cake, I heard, then spotted, a skylark rising over the clay pit as I was walking back towards the village.
In other news I collected J from the hospital with 2 walking frames.
More shannanigans with his phone(S), more unwanted stress for me, before I had even reached the hospital.
He's used £50 credit on 1 phone using mobile data while in hospital. After a quite long telephone call with an Asian gentleman "we" found the Nokia model, and eventually found where to turn off DATA. J very cheekily asked if he could be reimbursed. The very patient, Asian gentleman offered J a £20 refund... That'll buy me a bottle of gin. I need it!!
After ROHOG accompanied by a glass of water, I made dinner. Neither of us enjoyed it.
A little later I sorted J's weekly meds organiser.. In, out, in, out, shake 'em all about.
