The "Throat Thing" at Sunrise
I woke up early, so I headed out for the sunrise. It wasn't spectacular, but it was close. Several pelicans posed for me, but this bird...Benny the Beak...won the blip post.
I never know quite what to make of this maneuver, but I'm guessing it is like a human yawn...a BIG human yawn. Whenever they do it, you really get a look into the "mouth".
After my picture-taking and Lisa's swim class, we made an airport run to Sarasota to pick up s-i-l Doug and grandson Merrick. They will be here for 9-10 days. After dropping off their luggage at the condo, we did what Merrick wanted to do,,,have lunch at Chick-fil-a and go to 3 thrift stores.
Later, 6 games of round-robin euchre, and several NCAA March Madness basketball games.
Tomorrow night, MY Michigan Wolverines and Al and Shelley's Michigan State Spartans are both in action. (She jumped all over me a couple days ago for calling MSU "our" team.) Evidently, having grandson Brody attend there and being close to graduating makes Michigan State SOLELY her team.
I don't like these late games. Here it is 12:15 a.m. on Friday, and I am just posting my Thursday picture.
I like to watch the boys run and leap...
but hate it when they cut into my sleep.
