Highway 280, Near Palo Alto

I’ve taken this same picture dozens of times from the car window as we zoom towards home. Those hills! Those iconic trees! Today there was added storm and clouds! What a show! There were great bursts of rain—someone dumping huge barrels of water on us from overhead, then a bit of sun, the rain trickles, oops, another bucket splashes down. There is fog. Now, as I sit at the table at home, it’s sunny and dry.
