Penguin Droppings

"Alas, poor Yorick!

I knew him, Blippers:

. . . A fellow who looked nothing like this image before me."

Is that theatrical enough?

Or maybe it is Godot?  Who knows?  We never got to see him.

So what is/was it really?
An ICM* of a plastic wrapper from a magazine, a clementine, a glass paperweight and a black card - 2 second exposure.

The inspiration for this was partly Ingeborg's Abstract Thursday Challenge AT509 on the theme of 'Theatre'.
But mostly in response to our Photo Soc's presentation this week on Studio ICMs.  We were privileged and lucky to have engaged an American called David Day from Flat Rock, North Carolina who give us a detailed presentation via Zoom.  I thoroughly enjoyed it and admired most of his abstracts.  He also had some great titles for them.

I have tried a couple of sessions since, and this blip is from the second set which showed some improvement over my first.

*ICM = Intentional Camera Movement during exposure
