a bunch of daffodils

Growing in the woods, lovely tall King Alfreds. Many years ago there used to be a little cottage here, probably a farm worker’s cottage. We remember seeing it when the kids were little. It was derelict then with only half a roof but I always thought it was quite sweet and imagined doing it up…
Now this is a circular open space with trees all round and there are a couple of bunches of daffodils that come up every spring.
