Ivor Gurney

First stop on our trip is Gloucester Cathedral so that I can visit the stained glass windows. The medieval Great East window, the size of a tennis court, was once the largest window inthe world. But, my blip is a detail from the wonderful Ivor Gurney window, installed in 2014, by Thomas Denny. Regular visitors to these pages will know that I am trying to visit all of his windows in England. We are staying overnight with relatives in Devon before we continue our journey, south and west.
