Domination...

I got my long lens back from Sony yesterday, and thought I'd give it a run up to WWT Slimbridge to check it out. Happily the only long term damage was to my wallet, and the 200-600 f5.6-f6.3 behaved as well as ever. Note to self: don't drop it again!

At the reserve, the light was low, the wind was gusting and not a lot was about. However, what was about was full of the rites of spring, ie defending territory and using it for the increase of the species... This is one of a short sequence I've put up on my web site.

It doesn't seem of interest to UK news yet, but the actions against legitimate visitors to the USA by the ICE are causing no end of disturbance in the scientific community, of which one is my daughter. It's quite clear that the US is beginning a path towards isolation.

And at home, the Labour Party seem intent on ensuring a Reform win at the next general election... brace, brace, etc.
