Daffodils

I’ve renewed my Art Fund membership which gives me free admission into Michelham Priory, among other places.

Alice and I took Storm and Piggy with us for a walk round the gardens. Dogs are only allowed in on short leads. As Piggy was eager to have a paddle in the swampy moat and Storm tried to roll in fox poo that was probably for the best. Baths avoided. They’ve slept well since the excitement of going somewhere new.

Vikki came round for lunch and to borrow an electric sander. She’s bought a vintage bureau that’s been painted white. Like me, she prefers wood to show its beauty so she’s got a big project ahead restoring it.
