Winter Weeds

We ventured out into the rain this morning and headed down to the vet surgery in the car.

Jake was apprehensive when we got there and wouldn't go in the door so I had to pick him up! Once we were finally inside he had to sit on my knee and no matter how much i tried to reassure him he shook so hard my head was wobbling!

When his turn came he wouldn't go with the nurse who is a lovely girl that he normally greets with a wagging tail!

He was a bit more relaxed when he came back out about two minutes later and we were about to leave when I realised his harness was broken. The nurse started showing us what she had and then we started trying them on him and he went back to shaking!

Finally chose a new one which is very bright but the only one that fitted and then managed to get a brief word to the vet. She gave him the all clear and said it had healed really well and also the thumbs up for some short walks to get back into the swing of things hhhooorrraaay!!!! ::))

Unfortunately it has been raining all week and more is forecast for the next few days so I'll wait for the first break in the clouds and well get out there for a quick walk, we'll both be so happy :)

These beautiful lush green weeds and their tiny white flowers stood out brightly against the back fence on this grey day. Jake of course cocked his leg on them, ah the good times;)

I had a little play around with this in the Tangled app and ended up with an interesting textured effect.
