Once again leapt/fell out of bed as soon as I woke and off to the pool. Fell out on one the really slow swimmers for offensive remarks. Just touched a nerve. I'll not be popular.
Home I practised my lines after breakfast, emptied the car of the v heavy bag of compost and lighter plant food and seeds and then made some sartorial decisions before heading out to catch a #47. It was sunny but a wee bit chilly as I worked a third of the way down the Brae.
PPP (with pie and red wine this week) was excellent. 'Wasps', a one hander that was funny and poignant and well acted. How does she remember the words?
Having said that I was congratulated fire remembering all mine later. We did a full run through today. Tech rehearsal next week and we're nearly sold out though not in as much demand as 'Prima Facie' for which there were apparently Oasis like queues!
We slightly overran but I still managed to get the #47 home and bagged a top front seat. The pillars at the entrance to Middle Meadow Walk date to 1850.
Amended the website for my former work. They could easily have done it themselves but I am a kind soul (!), booked Sunday lunch with Mum and had a quick bowl of soup for dinner before it was time to meet L for choir.
S was in good form tonight and I was back in the front row. I think we sang well, though I now have 5 pieces to memorise. Home to watch a bit more Astrid but I had to admit defeat at 10 and shuffled off to bed.
