Skunk cabbage

Another sign of spring, and the skunk cabbage are plentiful along the sides of the road and in some fields. Mixed weather today, some sun, some rain and quite a bit warmer. I enjoyed a morning walk then did some housework.
Extras: Also a sign of spring. G spotted juncos making a nest on a ladder hanging on the shed. I saw some with building material in their beaks and tried to get a decent photo, but they moved too quickly. Wanted to keep a record anyway. It's quite a structure that they've built, with the little hollow for eggs at the top. Will keep an eye on it and watch for eggs.
