Black and Decker

MONDAY

The new television arrived late morning and this afternoon I spent a couple of hours fixing it on the kitchen wall. The TV is equipped with "Freely" and obtains its signal from the home wi-fi so it requires no connections other than a 13A power socket. I'm impressed with the picture and sound quality.

One of the casualties of the diy work was this  Black and Decker hammer drill which has finally given up the ghost after 43 year's service. I originally bought it as a Father's Day present for my Dad back in 1982.

Sadly, today marks exactly 41 years since I last saw my Dad as he passed away in the early hours of 25th March. 

Late afternoon today, I had a walk up to the village church to light a candle and say a few prayers.
