Bursting forth

Everywhere you look in the garden at the moment there are buds bursting forth, bright green splashes of colour, heralding the summer months round the corner when the garden comes alive.  

As we had some beautiful blue skies again today I took lots more photos of the cherry blossom tree in our front garden in the hope that I will eventually take ‘the one’ that I can use for birthday or note cards. I’m not the only person, either, it seems. Two friends have told me they’ve seen passers by taking photos of our blossom. I love it that our cherry tree gives so much pleasure, not only to us, but other people too.
