What a lovely cool day it was but, because I'm back-blipping, I can't remember what I did apart from being busy on the vegetable plot getting some of the backlog of weeds out.

The butternut squashes seem to have only male flowers at the moment which is disappointing, but I seem to remember that this happens every year and we always do end up with enough squashes, so I must be patient, keep my eyes open and be ready to tickle the pollen!
