Rhian and I had a fantastic walk from Ilam Hall today, the fog clearing by mid morning so that we could enjoy the views.

Up Bunster Hill, which was a bit of a pull, along the ridge and down to Ilam Rock. The descent through the woods was definitely type 2 fun, being extremely steep and slippery, but we survived although with shaking legs by the time we got to the bottom. Extra photo is of Rhian starting the descent. Then along the River Dove with lunch at Reynards Cave, around Thorpe Cloud and back to Ilam.

Came home with a bunch of wild garlic!
