A little shut-eye

This great horned owl was looking at me in the blips before this one that includes his entire ear.  SF and I saw it at the Lake Erie Nature and Science Center before our final hike at Huntington Reservation.  Earlier we met lots of doggies and people at Bradley Woods Reservation.  Several dogs were being trained while others were out for their daily walkies.  I almost ran out of dog treats.  Some big doggies are seen in the extra.  Not shown is Lucy, a chocolate Labrador retriever who birthed countless puppies on an Amish farm where she was kept in a barn her whole life until she was rescued.  SF and I had tears in our eyes hearing her story.  Fortunately, she's with a loving couple today who are making up for years of abuse.
