Girls Day Out

Caught the train to Kirkcaldy this morning.
We met up with our friends who live there.
The menfolk went off for a working planning day.
My chum and her little girl and I headed up to St Andrews.
Fabulous day there - sunny and warm!
We had coffee, lunch, shopped, walked on the beach.
Little K loved paddling, splashing and looking for the occasional shells.

Later on, hubby and I trained it back over to Edinburgh and spent the evening with b-i-l and s-i-l
We watched The Peanut Butter Falcon. A good film featuring two men on the run, one of whom has Down’s Syndrome and their unlikely friendship. Heartwarming, poignant and funny.
