Cross Keys

Up early to take W to the station. He has been sent to Birmingham for 3 nights to see how he gets on a different department. It’s a job he might wish to do after he graduates so a fantastic opportunity. He has really enjoyed it today. Next I met with S and her puppy Rusty. We planned our first bike ride. The route we usually take was closed so we did another route in reverse. It was chilly and windy but the route was better than expected. We stopped at the Cross Keys for hot drinks. It was lovely inside. This evening I’ve been to a very interesting local history talk by a researcher from Lancaster University.
