Mini copilot…..

A day of this and that.
Once everything was fed , ran the 14 bulling heifers in the slatted shed round to the handling race and gave them their first BVD vaccination.
After that, loaded up my 2 terrorist copilots , hitched up a bale trailer and headed down the road to collect some oat straw bales from my contractor that he had going spare.
They still have a couple of fields of barley to drill for me there before they sow the oats up here . Fingers crossed the weather plays ball.
An afternoon spent repairing the shepherd’s quad bike trailer.
It always amazes me how they manage to knacker anything they use.
Fitted 2 new wheel hubs and bearings , a new tow hitch , and welded up the drawbar too. Hopefully it will last him through lambing time now….
