Two walks

I had a long leisurely walk with Django in the morning. Then, at lunch time, my friend Jane contacted me to see whether I (and Django) fancied a short walk round Portmore. It was so sunny today that I had no problem saying yes! We had a lovely walk - heard a tawny owl (strange for that time of day, but there is no doubt that it is what we heard). We saw a fisherman catch a huge brown trout. He asked us to photograph him with it, then to take another photo of him releasing it. There were toads and frogs everywhere (sadly, not always alive), the sun was warm, the birds were singing everywhere and the views were beautiful. I came back feeling so grateful for the beautiful nature around me.
Tonight, I have a zoom meeting with ex-Carnegie judges/chairs to discuss the Carnegie shortlists - I'll see how it goes. Then Julian and I are eating out somewhere.
