Firecrest 3
I know, I know and I'm sorry but I just couldn't resist - probably because I'm unlikely to have such opportunities in future to blip the local firecrests. My feeling is the young ones will decamp to non-public areas and who could blame them? Either that or remain in the ivy where they like to hide. There is a second shot of one of them in extras, also a small tortoiseshell on a rather boring background - but the first butterfly I've blipped this year!
Much of the rest of the day has been taken up by Hazel's and Bramble's vet appointments and my hospital appointment this afternoon. All good so far.
Have a lovely evening, folks xx
