Completely coincidentally, Louisa's day off for working Friday night and my using up the last of my leave meant that we were both free today and took the opportunity to actually spend some time together.

We decided to use a Christmas present voucher from Mom & Dad for what felt like a bit of an indulgent lunch at Wagamama, including whatever cocktail this is and some sake.
It was good for the soul to be able to sit and relax together, just us, before having a brief mooch around the shops and a coffee.

Life will intrude though and we knew we had to get back to pick Owen up from school but it was a lovely couple of hours.
