Always Funny

So, my lovely pal Gillian and I are in Brussels. I won a competition, yes, really, me, a competition, I know! We got business class flights from Embra to Brussels (not really biznez, we got a breakfast while the people behind us got sneered at), 2 nights in a lovely hotel and dinner.

Dinner, by the way, in a Michelin starred restaurant. The number of amuse bouches and other fripperies were just plain bonkers, enough to make your eyes boggle (see above).

The temperature in Brussels was in the mid-30's - the hot type of 30's not the ones we usually get in Edinburgh in the summer.
