Reading Uni

I thoroughly enjoyed revisiting old haunts at Reading Uni. This used to be the Law School building when I was there but they have long outgrown this space. I spent many a tutorial there and remember the stress of approaching it on results day. In those days your degree results were posted on a display board for all to see.

Leo enjoyed looking around too. He was really impressed with the campus and the facilities. The only downside was the Business School talk was majorly underwhelming. They did really bad job of selling the course - in fact they said very little about it all. We heard loads from the students about social aspects of being a student there but Leo was hoping to get a better handle on the course content so he could see how it compares to the others.

In the absence of that we will have to trawl the website to get a better idea of things.

He liked the facilities better at Reading but felt good about the Surrey course as they explained it so well he knows exactly what would be involved if he took that course. It is feeling a bit more of a leap in to the unknown at Reading as he knew no more about the course content after the open Day.

He is visiting Exeter this weekend and then it is looking like he will be choosing between Surrey/Reading/Exeter so needs to settle on 2 of the 3 for now
