Both are blue...

...honestly.

On the left is the Farmhouse Blue cheese that I made yesterday. The other one I created in December. It will be ready to cut in three weeks' time, four months after being made. I'll Blip the insides when I cut it open.

Bean and I walked at a surprisingly busy Bortons Pond this afternoon. We met five people to chat to, and another three who drove past and waved (I have no idea who they were). Plus two dogs. I think we were all there to celebrate the sunshine reappearing after three days of hiding behind clouds, and some rain.

Everybody was very cheerful and I enjoyed conversations about fishing, birdwatching, owning a dog, and I even found myself in a debate about whether Bean has Tasmanian Tiger in her breeding. She doesn't, but the other half of the discussion was utterly convinced. There are times when there is no point in saying a word, so I just smiled and nodded.

Thanks for the beetroot comments yesterday. It turns out to be even more popular than Marmite.
