Daffs

Or daft? Day started really well. Woke up at 6.32 and I'd finished my 45 mins/1 km in the pool and was home by 7.50. It was sunny but fresh outside and I got stuck into some personal admin tasks. I'm still following my work routine: pool, breakfast, get going on laptop, but if course I'm not working now.

Then at 10.50 I suddenly remembered, I should have been at the nurse at 9.30. Merde, luckily I managed to persuade/bully them into finding me a slot this afternoon. Phew, I was already 2 weeks overdue and the next proper appointment they had was in 2 weeks. Though why they only have 1 nurse who can give these B12 injections is a bit of a mystery. Not very resilient, but the daffodils outside the surgery are always very cheery.

Rest of the day I frittered away. Put remainder of Saturday's prunings in the brown bin, now stappit fu', thought about rearranging furniture, made a 'to do' list, spoke to Y on the phone -things are slightly better 'oop North', tried to do my cross stitch, untouched since November, but there are mistakes that need rectified and the colour blocks make that difficult.

Eventually cooked dinner, closed the curtains and snuggled up with Willow to watch more Astrid, oh and the extended Reporting Scotland about the start of UK lockdown.

I'm going to have to put the laptop in the office to break a habit and stop this time wasting.
