Love

Jerry needed new hiking boots so it was road trip time. We went to Augusta to the Pro Bass Shop and yeah!! He found boots that were comfortable and on sale. Merrill is my go to boot and walking shoe so now he has the same. I have been telling him for ages to try some! So I got to say I told you so!

We had shrimp and grits for lunch at our favorite restaurant in Augusta and then went to a section of the Augusta Canal for a short walk. The Savannah River portion was closed for maintenance so we only had a tiny stroll. I did see this new love lock wall that had been installed to keep people from putting locks on the fencing along the canal gate. It was a lovely metal sculpture that flowed like a river.

As usual we took the long way home to fill up the day. First physical therapy session on his arm on Wednesday. Surgeon post surgery follow up on Friday. He is adapting to using the left hand well but he is not happy.
