Brookwood

This was not somewhere I was expecting to visit today but my car had other ideas. I worked from home in the morning as I had a half day for a visit to the hairdresser - she’s really hard to get an appointment with. I had my lunch and then Paul arrived home with a problem with his car - speedo and other dials not working on and off. I got in my car to drive to the hairdressers but it started making a very odd noise so I came home again. I think that either the rear shock absorber or spring has gone. I couldn’t use Paul’s car which is my usual backup so resorted to going by train - an hour’s journey as there’s no direct route. Fortunately I’d allowed lots of time so I got there with time to spare. And I’ve booked the car in tomorrow to have it looked at. We’ll see how much that costs. Not good timing as I’m hoping to get a new car soon but probably not soon enough!
