Where's my baby gone?

We were getting in a couple of cows and calves this afternoon, when this cow popped her head up over the fence to see if we had her calf. Unfortunately we didn't, as it was taken off her yesterday, and was already in the shed. In a few days she will have forgotten about for baby, and will be more interested in eating grass and getting some relief, once milked, from her tight udder.

The sun can out this afternoon, and what a change it was being out in the warmth, rather than out in the rain in our wet weather gear like we were yesterday. The temperature got to a high of 19.6 degrees C. Just perfect.
