Spring Snowflake

Hiding behind a big clump of daffodils in a border at the front of the house I unexpectedly came across some lovely  Spring Snowflake blooms. I had planted a few bulbs elsewhere in the border a few years ago but they never really did very much so I was delighted to come across these. It was after I took the photo that I noticed the tick crawling on the white petals. I was NOT delighted about that!
It was a beautiful mild, sunny afternoon.
