Goat willow catkin in flower

The distant scene is misty again today so I decided on a close-up. My blip shows the beautiful golden pollen of the male goat willow flower (salix caprea) and my extra shows the female catkins. These willows are in the slightly boggy area below the daffodil fields at Pendrea.
