Basking...

I had a lie in this morning as it was such a late night home last night.

We spent some of the day in the garden. I spied a few spiders basking on the geraniums. Well this one looks like it's meditating... And my other half accidentally fished out one of our newts from the pond. (see extra) He was trying to scoop up some of the fallen leaves. It was soon put back in the water.

And it was another night out too. But I couldn't miss it. We had invited Stewart Wood to our camera club to do a macro talk. My favourite photography subject. It was brilliant!
