A birding day

A drive around the surrounds of Vejer today doing some birding. Nothing hugely exotic but a good selection of local specialities.This Hoopoe posed nicely and rather better than most of the other birds we saw. 
Quite a lot of dirt track roads - and indeed at one stage there were fears from the co-driver that we would never see tarmac again.
In the evening down to nearby Barbate to the tuna restaurant with the octopus and potato sald being the highlight.
